Day 20, and still January!

Given the cold temperatures, the trails were lightly used today. Unless we pick up some fresh snow, we don't plan to regroom. We will have a photographer out on the trails with a drone to film our local ski trails, and anyone out skiing on them tomorrow mid-morning.

We probably have another 2-4 days of local skiing, and then the temperatures are going to get too warm, likely causing us to temporarily close the trails again. Usually we don't lose most of our snow--they just become too thin/icy to safely ski, and any grooming we tried to do could damage the golf course. With February and March still ahead of us, I expect we'll have many more days of local skiing to come!

We rolled in the ~5-6" of snow we received overnight on all 5 trails, and had a 'soft' opening at noon today for the Green and Green-Blue Loops. (The other 3 loops still have too many thin, dangerous

The Country Club At Woodmoor did not get quite as much snow as I got at my house, but I am out rolling and assessing the trails as we speak. There will be a post later today if the trails will be open
