Trails temporarily closed

Our local nonprofit ski trails still skied pretty nice this morning, all things considered. We closed the trails at noon, and they will remain temporarily closed until we get enough new snow to safely reopen. Given the predicted temperatures Monday and Tuesday, we will likely need 3-4 or more inches of new snow to fill in all the bare spots that will continue to develop with these upcoming warm days.

The storm is still several days out, but here is the current prediction, subject to change:

Basically, the north half of the state is favored for the brunt of the storm, but hopefully its track will drop further south and we'll get more... Think snow!
