The country club at Woodmoor has re-opened their golf course with the warmer temperatures and lack of snow—months earlier than normal. And given the continued predicted warm temperatures (highs in the 50s-60s for the next several weeks), they have also requested us to shut down our Nordic operations and move our rental equipment out of their golf pro shop. There is another chance for some local snow tonight. However, the temperatures are predicted to quickly rebound into the 50s and 60s, so even if we happened to get enough to groom (unlikely), it wouldn’t be cost effective, melting out before any decent skiing could be done. I’m not seeing any cold, snowy weather beyond this storm through the end of the month.
