Monday--possible last morning for local skiing (day 34!)?

The trails started a bit icy and rutted early this am, but a quick re-groom by Kip and the warming temperatures quickly made it quite nice, resulting in a great last weekend of local skiing. We will re-groom the trails tomorrow morning, and a few rental reservations are still available online (reservations only as our volunteers who staff the rental shop all have real jobs too).

I expect trail conditions should still be good in the am, although a few thin spots will start to develop on both trails as the day progresses given the predicted highs in the 50s. Given the warm temperatures, it is possible we'll close the trails early (around/after noon) if we think the snow will hold for one more day of trail grooming (Tuesday morning), but once the trail connector melts out between the Green loop and the Blue-Black Trail (and where the snowmobiles are parked), we will be unable to continue grooming without risking golf course turf damage, and will be done for the season so the Country Club at Woodmoor can start preparing the course for April golf.

Again, great to see so many people out enjoying the trails and trying skiing (or our local Nordic center) for the first time today!
