Woodmoor and Monument picked up only 1-2” of snow overnight—unfortunately, not enough to be able to roll any trails without possibly damage to the underlying golf course. It looks like the storm is done, but if something changes we’ll post an update.
Trust me, we are just as disappointed as you all to not be out preparing our local ski trails to open them back up for the public, and many of us re-arranged our regular work schedule to be able to be available for this voluntary duty today. This winter just isn’t being very cooperative….
Looks like a chance for more snow later this weekend and again next week, but nothing substantial predicted—which is what we need to be able to re-open and stay open for a while. Hopefully that changes—think snow!
