We aren't having the winter start I had hoped for, with more unseasonably warm weather this week, but colder air and a chance for snow starting Friday. Too early to predict, but many are forecasting 4-8" possible. Although the mountains got some good snow this past weekend, even they are hurting. Snow Mountain Ranch had to cancel their early season biathlon race, and Breckenridge Nordic's skiing wouldn't be great if not for all the man-made snow they've produced. Hopefully this weather pattern changes soon--think snow!
