The storm snubbed us again, dropping roughly an inch, most of which melted soon after falling. It has been a rough end to February, with warmer than normal temps and less snow than usual. I'd guess that after this last weekend, we've lost 50% of our ski trails, with more 50+ F days predicted later this week. Photo taken yesterday:

The long term forecast does predict another decent storm at the end of the weekend (Sunday nite into Monday), with a return to high temperatures in the mid 40s, which might allow us to re-open at least a couple of our trails. Given the extended melting that has occurred over the past couple weeks, it's unlikely we'll be able to reopen everything; the black trail is probably done for the season... Still 30 local ski days so far, so not bad. Think snow!
