Actively rolling trails for Thursday opening

Woodmoor has picked up 4 to 5 inches of snow, and we have been cleared to start rolling and grooming trails. We are actively packing down all five trails now, and will continue to do so as it continues to snow—which could be through tonight. We hope to have at least 2 to 3 trails open for skiing tomorrow, but likely will not have the black or blue loops open in their entirety due to the fact that there is no protective carpet underneath the ski trails in several dangerous downhills that have gravel or asphalt underneath. We don’t want to end someone’s ski season before it starts due to a bad crash!

Look for another update later this afternoon/evening, or tomorrow morning, and think snow!
