Plenty cold, but not enough new snow to re-open

So far this storm has been a complete bust! There is still a slight chance of snow over the next 24 hours, but given the original predictions for snowfall, compared to the measly amount we actually got, I'm not expecting much.

This weekend and next week we warm back up into the 50s, and without additional snowfall, we will continue to lose more of our snow base faster than we can maintain it. And while March tends to be our snowiest month, the snow from the spring storms usually melt faster than we can often groom it in.

There is a chance we could add a few more local ski days to the 19 days open we've had so far, but this winter has been pretty disappointing compared to our typical winter ski season...
