We spent the weekend moving our nonprofit rental gear into the Country Club's Golf Pro shop, scraping dozens of skis to have them ready for the winter. It was even snowing as we were finishing up, and sticking to ground….
We should see some snow locally this week, although the country club has already informed us that they don't have the golf course prepped quite yet to allow us to start grooming (and likely any snow we do get will mostly melt out by next week,) But it hopefully won't be long until we are grooming trails and skiing locally!
There are just under 2 weeks left to purchase your season passes with our 'snow guarantee' (50% credit towards next year's pass if we have less than 15 days of local skiing). Passes will still be available for purchase after 15 November, but the snow guarantee will not apply. We are also getting ready to place our annual ski gear order from Madshus and Toko, so if you want to get in on ~30+% savings on new Madshus ski gear, make sure you've purchased your season pass and contacted us to be included!
Finally, we have lost 3 volunteer trail groomers due to summer work moves, so are still looking for anyone interested and willing to help us groom the trails, plus volunteers to assist in the rental shop. Any volunteer hours count towards a discounted (up to free) season pass for the following winter, and hours over and above that grooming trails can get reimbursed financially. If you are interested in helping us out, please feel free to contact us via the volunteer link on this website.
Ski season is coming—think snow!
