Trail and rental update

Despite the warmer temperatures, the snow is holding up nicely along most of the golf course, with just a few sections that are getting thin or has melted back to grass. It won't take too much new snow to groom an reopen the trails (assuming people haven't walked on the trails and damaged them when it was warm).

Also, we are going to try to accept payments in advance for our online rental reservation. As our rental shop is staffed by volunteers, it is a huge inconvenience for them to make a special trip to the rental shop mid-week for a customer's reservation (often leaving their paying job), and then have the customer fail to show and/or notify us about the cancellation... A refund would be provided with sufficient advance notice of course....

Let's hope this next storm delivers!

We rolled in the ~5-6" of snow we received overnight on all 5 trails, and had a 'soft' opening at noon today for the Green and Green-Blue Loops. (The other 3 loops still have too many thin, dangerous

The Country Club At Woodmoor did not get quite as much snow as I got at my house, but I am out rolling and assessing the trails as we speak. There will be a post later today if the trails will be open
